"The IFCT is a dynamic
multi-service, training, technical assistance and
research-to-practice agency that believes intellect, faith, and
strength-based social service delivery can and must co-exist for the
benefit of children and their families!
i
The IFCT advances a
deliberate and unabashed agenda of promoting the protective factors
in houses of worship for the benefit of children and their families.
i
Because research has
proven that Houses of Worship (faith, religion and spirituality)
greatly influence parenting norms and family formation, we believe
it is imperative to integrate and promote protective factors and
this approach in faith organizations.
i
THUS...Pastor, Priest,
Imam, Rabbi, Bishop, Sheik, Clergywoman or Clergyman...I am asking
you to help make me and my family stronger!!!"
